Come and relax in our quiet farm house, which is self contained and equipped with everything you need for your stay. "The McCrea's are the inspiration for the warmth and charm of this farm vacation. Thanks for the heaping helpings of generosity and hospitality."

All you bring is your food. The house comfortably sleeps 8-10 people and is only rented to a single family or party at one time. The guest house was built in 1910 and retains many of it's original characteristics. It is within walking distance of the farm, swimming hole, lake and wilderness trails. You can relax on your own or join our family for farm activities such as milking a cow, looking after livestock (including 3 horses), haying or touring the farm. Some of our guests have viewed the birth of a calf and milked a cow for the first time.

Woodlot Trails

Join us in the early spring during the maple syrup season and experience the collection of sap for the production of maple syrup. We have a network of trails throughout the farm and woodlot which offers breathtaking scenery, where you can do any number of outdoor activities. Hiking, backpacking and camping out in the woods are family favorites. Bring your mountain bikes, all terrain vehicles, cross-country skis, snowmobiles or just a really good pair of sneakers. Our trails connect with the NB Snowmobile trail systems. We can provide lodging and hot meals on those cold winter days.

Swimming and Boating

We have one of the best swimming holes in Southern New Brunswick with water cascading down an overhead falls, just a two-minute walk from the guesthouse. You can spend "Enjoyed the canoeing, fishing, wildlife and walks... A real family holiday!"

leisurely hours canoeing and paddling a boat in our lake. Both canoes and paddleboats are available for use at your own risk.During your stay at the farm join us for a bonfire at the lake. On special occasions such as Canada Day and New Brunswick Day help us celebrate with fireworks and marshmallows!

Wildlife Viewing, Photography and Hunting

This farm and woodlot have been managed to enhance wildlife habitat for many years. It is common to see wildlife in their natural setting year round. You can enjoy viewing and photographing wildlife such as white tail deer, bear, various bird species, rabbit, coyote, moose and others. Because our facilities are open year round we do offer accommodation during hunting season which lasts for 7 weeks in October and November. Guests are permitted to hunt on farm property. A licensed guide is available for out of province hunters.

Bird Watching

"This must be heaven!"

Guests have enjoyed many peaceful and relaxing afternoons wandering in the forests in search of rare species of birds. Drumming logs, nesting boxes and bird feeders have been placed throughout the woodlot to attract the birds.
